Baked Italian Sliders
These baked Italian sliders are so easy to make and full of so much flavor as they combine Hawaiian rolls, pesto, cheese, and loads of different meats to create the most delicious easy-to-make appetizer, dinner, or snack!
There is nothing better than sliders! They are easy to make, easily customizable, ready in minutes, and the perfect meal to eat on the go or to feed a crowd.
These baked Italian sliders are one of my favorites! They have all your favorite meats like ham, pepperoni, and salami that are then topped with your favorite kind of cheese, banana peppers, and pesto. Once you make these your family will fall in love with them!

Ingredients:
- 2 Packages 9 Count King’s Hawaiian Slider Rolls
- 1 Cup Store-Bought Basil Pesto
- Provolone Cheese (16 slices)
- 16 Slices of Italian Hot Ham, or Capicola
- Sandwich Pepperoni (16 slices)
- 16 Slices Genoa Salami
- 1 cup Roasted Red Peppers, Sliced
- 1 Cup Mild Banana Pepper Rings
- ½ Stick Butter, Melted
- 2 Tablespoons Everything Seasoning
- Marinara Sauce for Dipping (optional)
How to Make Baked Italian Sliders
- Preheat the oven to 325℉, and prepare a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray. If not pre-sliced, slice your slider rolls in half. Place the bottom halves on the baking sheet and evenly spread the pesto on the bottom half and the top half.
- Begin layering, starting with 8 slices of provolone, 16 slices of hot ham, 16 slices of pepperoni, and 16 slices of salami.
- Evenly distribute the roasted red peppers and banana peppers, then top with the other 8 slices of provolone.
- Place the other half of the slider buns on top.
- Brush on the melted butter and sprinkle with everything seasoning.
- Cover loosely with tin foil and bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is nicely melted.
Tips Tricks and FAQs
- Feel free to add in extra vegetables if you prefer. Some of my favorites are olives, capers, red onions, and tomatoes.
- Swap out the cheese for a different kind or add another flavor to your sandwich.
- While we love these deli meats for our baked Italian Sliders, feel free to omit or swap out any of the suggestions for your favorites.
- Not a fan of pesto? Use mayonnaise, mustard, or aioli if you prefer.
Storage
You will want to store your leftover Italian sliders in the fridge in an airtight container. These will last up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat your sliders, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Place them on a baking sheet that is lined with foil and bake for 10 minutes or until warm.
Can you freeze Italian Sliders?
I do not recommend freezing Italian sliders. When frozen, the bread turns hard and crusty.

Can you swap out the deli meats and cheese?
Yes, of course, use whatever you love!
Can you freeze them?
I wouldn’t recommend freezing the sliders as the bread would get hard and crusty.

Yes, store them in an air-tight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
How to reheat.

Can you swap out the pesto?
Yes! Try instead, whole grain mustard, garlic aioli, and mayonnaise.
