  5. Brush on the melted butter and sprinkle with everything seasoning.
  6. Cover loosely with tin foil and bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is nicely melted.

Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • Feel free to add in extra vegetables if you prefer. Some of my favorites are olives, capers, red onions, and tomatoes.
  • Swap out the cheese for a different kind or add another flavor to your sandwich.
  • While we love these deli meats for our baked Italian Sliders, feel free to omit or swap out any of the suggestions for your favorites.
  • Not a fan of pesto? Use mayonnaise, mustard, or aioli if you prefer.

Storage

You will want to store your leftover Italian sliders in the fridge in an airtight container. These will last up to 3 days.

To reheat your sliders, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Place them on a baking sheet that is lined with foil and bake for 10 minutes or until warm.

Can you freeze Italian Sliders?

I do not recommend freezing Italian sliders. When frozen, the bread turns hard and crusty.
