Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • This is a great vegetarian dish, but you can easily add a protein as well without losing the flavor of the dish.
  • Another option is to add steamed vegetables to keep it nice and fresh. Try mushrooms, zucchini or even asparagus.
  • Pasta water is the secret ingredient. This will help prevent your noodles from sticking to one another and it helps thicken the sauce and actually stick to the noodles. If you have not done this before, now is the time to start!

Storage

This dish is best enjoyed right away because of the freshness of it. If you choose you can refrigerate it for a day or two, but it will lose some of its flavor.

What do you serve with lemon spaghetti?

Lemon spaghetti can easily be served as a main dish especially paired with a crusty bread, but if you want to serve it alongside a protein chicken, shrimp, fish, or crab would be a great fit. You can either mix it into the pasta or on the side. Really the possibilities are endless with this flavor.
