One of the best things about summer is the BBQs and the get-togethers! One of my favorite things to take is jello shots! They are always a huge hit! Everyone always loves them and they are so easy to make! Some of my go-to jello shots have always been my Pina Colada Jello Shot, my Blue Hawaiian Jello Shots, and of course this tasty Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly Jello Shot!

If you want the flavor of a PB & J sandwich and want to feel like a kid again, then this is a jello shot worth making. It will take you right back to your childhood with a little kick of alcohol in it with a grown-up spin on it! 

What does Peanut Butter Whisky Taste Like?

If you have never tried Peanut Butter Whisky you are missing out! It is a sweet and nutty flavor that goes perfect in these jello shots. 

Peanut-Butter-Shots-Ingredients

Ingredients 

1. 1 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter Whiskey 

2. 1 1/2 Cup Water

3. 1 3.9oz Box Grape Jello 

4. Crushed Nuts 

5. Condiment Cups

How to Make Peanut Butter and Jelly Jello Shots

1. Bring 1 1/2 cups of water to a boil.

2. Pour in grape jello.

3. Mix well.

4. Pour in 1 1/2 cups peanut butter whiskey.

5. Fill each condiment cup up with jello.

6. Refrigerate until jello is solid.

7. Sprinkle with crushed nuts.

Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • You can omit the crushed nuts if desired. 
  • Feel like Peanut Butter and Raspberry Jelly Jello Shots? Swap out the jello flavor. You can really make these with any flavor you choose. 
  • To easily store your jello shots, place the plastic cups in muffin tins and then fill. Once filled, place in the fridge and allow them to set. 

How long does it take jello shots to set?

Typically jello shots take about 4 hours, but I like to make them the day before to ensure that they have enough time to set up before serving. 

What happens if you put too much alcohol in jello shots?

If you put too much alcohol in jello shots then they will not set. You want to make sure that you follow the recipe exactly in regards to the Peanut Butter Whisky to ensure it sets properly.
