Halloween Peanut Butter Fudge

This Halloween Peanut Butter Fudge is one of a kind! It is smooth and creamy loaded with holiday-inspired M&Ms. This is the perfect recipe to enjoy throughout the Halloween season.

I love Halloween! I love the decorations and the scaring, but most of all I love the treats! This Halloween Peanut Butter fudge recipe is one of my favorites! You will fall in love with the incredibly smooth, highly addictive peanut butter flavor. It is so easy to make and can easily be adapted to any holiday that you choose! Once you make this you will find yourself making it again and again.

Halloween-Peanut-Butter-Fudge-Ingredients

Ingredients:

2 1⁄2 c sugar

1 tsp vanilla

3⁄4 c butter

1 jar of Fluff (7oz)

2⁄3 c evaporated milk

1⁄2 tsp salt

1 1⁄2 c peanut butter

1 1⁄2 c orange, black, and white M&Ms

How to Make Halloween Peanut Butter Fudge

  • Combine sugar, butter, milk and salt in a heavy 3 qt sauce pan. Bring to full boil over high heat
  • stirring constantly.
  • Reduce heat to medium and continue to stir for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in peanut butter until fully melted.
  • Add vanilla and fluff, beat until well blended and fluff is fully melted.
  • Fold in candy immediately. Spread in a 13×9 inch baking pan, greased or lined with parchment paper.
  • Cool at room temperature (2-3 hrs) or place in the fridge to cool (1-2 hrs).

Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • Be sure to prep your pan first! You do not want your hot fudge sitting starting to form while you prep your pan. 
  • This can easily be adapted to any holiday by swapping the color of the M&Ms. 
  • Want to make this throughout the entire year? Use the variety M&Ms. 
  • You can omit the M&Ms if you prefer. 
  • You do not want to use natural peanut butter. Be sure you use a well-known brand like JIF. 
  • Be sure to use butter. Margarine and butter are not the same. Swapping the butter out will change the texture completely.

Storage

You will want to store your Halloween peanut butter fudge in an airtight container at room temperature. This will last for about one week. 

Fridge

If you want your fudge to last a bit longer, place it in the fridge in an airtight container. This will last up to 3 weeks.

Can you freeze peanut butter fudge?

Yes! You can freeze peanut butter fudge. Wrap your fudge in portioned-sized pieces and then place them all in a freezer-safe bag. When you are ready to enjoy, remove the desired amount and let them thaw.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ c peanut butter
  • 1 jar of Fluff (7oz)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 ½ c black, orange and white M&Ms

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, butter, milk, and salt in a heavy 3 qt saucepan. Bring to a full boil over high heat stirring constantly.
  2. Reduce heat to medium and continue to stir for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in peanut butter until fully melted.
  4. Add vanilla and fluff, beat until well blended and fluff is fully melted.
  5. Fold in candy immediately. Spread in a 13x9 inch baking pan, greased or lined with parchment paper.
  6. Cool at room temperature (2-3 hrs) or place in the fridge to cool (1-2 hrs).
  7. Store in an airtight storage container in the fridge for freshness.

Notes

Change up the color M&M's to make this for any holiday or leave out M&M's to use as a regular fudge for any time.
